As of March 1, Amrâth Hotels has appointed Bob van Herpen as the new General Manager of Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus. With this appointment, Amrâth Hotels consciously chooses an experienced and inspiring leader to further enhance and elevate the guest experience at one of the most iconic hotels in the Netherlands.

Bob van Herpen
During and after completing his education at the Hotel Management School Maastricht, Bob van Herpen gained extensive international experience in the hospitality industry. He worked in the Netherlands, China, Belgium, the United States, and the Caribbean, thereby developing a broad knowledge of both the Dutch and international hospitality industry. Over the past ten years, Bob has further specialized in hotel management in the Netherlands. In his role as Cluster General Manager, he was responsible for four southern Amrâth hotels, where he successfully led various teams.

In the past year, Bob stepped outside operational hospitality and fulfilled the role of Operations Manager at an international hospitality, recruitment, and career development company. This valuable interim year broadened and deepened his knowledge and vision. At the same time, this experience confirmed what was always clear: Bob's passion unmistakably lies within the hospitality industry; a sector where hospitality, quality, and leadership come together.

Bob looks forward to taking the helm: "Hospitality runs like a common thread through my life and is what I apply daily with great enthusiasm. I look forward to working with the experienced team at Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus to further develop this uniquely characterful hotel."
